We all want to be that person we see on TikTok or YouTube. Seeing these people and wondering how in the world they got that many followers or how their channel got found out. While everyone on the outside looks in, think “wow, they are so lucky, I want that"

Well, most of these people you see online that have a huge following all have something in common. They use self-discipline.

Mastering it can be very tricky, but at the same time easy. Think of something you’re so passionate about. You can basically see yourself doing the job or the task.

If you want something bad enough you sit down and put in the hard work. These people are doing the things that are hard for us but easy for them because they put in the time and effort, and succeeded.

Here are 5 ways to create a more disciplined schedule and life to conquer your goals and make it your year.


Number 1 - JOURNAL (Invest in a good Journal)


  • Write down your number one goal (What is that goal? Invision it, and think about what it would be like to have that goal achieved)
  • Below that write out a plan on how you will start the first step to move you in that direction.
  • Write down 3 things you’re grateful for.
  • Create a daily routine for yourself (I have a great morning routine on my website)

Number 2 - YOUR TIME (Where can you create more time in your life?)


  • Can you wake up earlier to have extra time to put into that goal?
  • Are you wasting time with friends and relationships that are not benefiting your growth?
  • Are you wasting time on YouTube or TikTok watching other lives instead of investing in yourself?
  • Learn how to say no to people.

Fill your time wisely, time is more valuable than you know.


Number 3 - LEARNING (If you are on YouTube, start watching videos of successful people. Watch how those people go about their lives, study what they do and duplicate it. Someone is doing it now, so can you)


  • While you’re cleaning the house or driving pull out a podcast or listen to good audio about personal development.
  • Read books, study, and learn how people articulate their thoughts.

 Number 4 - YOUR EMOTIONS (Learn about yourself and how you interact with people)


  • Invest into yourself
  • Read as much as you can
  • Recognize when you have a bad day (not a bad life)
  • Solve the deep-rooted emotional problem (don't put a band on it or shove it under the rug.)
  • Identify your thoughts

Number 5 - FEAR (be Fearless)


  • Don't let the fear of judgment hold you back from discovering who you will become.
  • Failure is a good thing (you've learned what not to do)
  • Be comfortable with discomfort.

As humans, we have the willpower to do and be anything we want. That's the craziest thing about this life. Take your life by the reins and create a life you can be proud and happy about.

Who's to say you can't do something? Only you can make it happen and you’re the only one holding yourself back.
