How To Stay Consistent With Your Workouts

Key practices for staying consistent with your workouts

Working out…we all want to get in shape, feel healthier and live our best life.

We set good intentions for our day, and sometimes the day just slips by and the workout we planned on doing never happens.

You’re not alone, working out takes consistency, discipline, and action.

How can I stay consistent with my workouts

Use discipline rather than your motivation, if you stay disciplined enough to knock out that workout even when you’re battling the urge to skip a day just because you don't feel like it, you will be the one making progress in your journey.

How can I stay disciplined

Keep yourself in check always, be honest with the things you're doing, and confront the things you're actually not doing.

Be honest with yourself, once you start showing up for yourself, you will start doing the things you know need to be done.

How can I start to trust in myself

Do the things you don’t want to do, show up every day, and actually do the things you said you would do.

If you say "I am doing a workout today", make sure that happens. Each day you can count on yourself more and more.

Here are key practices to stay consistent with your workouts — check them below ?

Staying consistent with working out

Letting go of doubt

Let go of your fears and doubts, and continue on despite the unknown. When you break through fear and experience something you never thought you could accomplish that's when true change starts to take place.

It's the journey that counts

Most of us look back and wish we would have enjoyed the moment, don’t be so fixed on the destination, make sure to enjoy the journey as well.

Results take time

Try to be kind to your fitness journey, like they say “Rome wasn’t built overnight”. Understand that consistent habits each day add up to huge results.

Love who you are today

Fall in love with how you look today, for some of us this may be hard. However, if we can learn to be happy with how we look today, your fitness journey will be a lot easier.

When you don't see fast results, it can be a bit discouraging. So, love who you are today!

The burden of a workout

Don't carry the burden of a workout, the more we stress over it the more we are giving in to those voices saying “I just do it tomorrow”.

Positivity

Use positive words always, get yourself pumped. Stop saying “I don't want to work out” instead say “I can't wait to work out” Those small changes will do you wonders.
