Why do I need a routine for my mental health
Having structure added to our daily life can help us tremendously, it fills our day will things that are actually important to us rather than drifting through our day doing things that are not beneficial to our growth.
How can I create a good summer routine
First, you need to find a system that works for you – figure out what type of a person you are. Analyze where you fall short. Are being honest with how you are applying yourself to the things that matter most? Do you tell yourself you will do something, then you don’t do it?
Once you figure out the areas you fall short in, work on those and take baby steps every day to start showing up for yourself.
Find joy in all the small things this summer to create a routine that sparks a change in your mental and physical health.
SO..without further ado let's start with these tips
Set your morning up for success
Try waking up early -- at least at a decent time. Waking up earlier gives you an opportunity to look at the world through a different lens. If you’re a 9-5 type of person, waking up gives you the opportunity to get after your goals, work on yourself, and gives time to adjust before you start your day.
Summer workout routine
If you start incorporating those early mornings into your routine – try adding some movement. Get yourself going, activate those musicals, and release some endorphins. Our bodies need to release pain and stress.

Whole foods in your summer routine
Stay away from the fast food. Start eating more whole foods – this can be veggies, eggs, fruits, chicken; or just good home-cooked meals. Nowadays everything is so easy and fast, it may be tempting to just eat out, but sooner or later it will catch up with us. we only have one body and mind, so take great care of it.
Skin and hair
Be mindful of the products you use on your face, hair, and toothpaste. This is important. Our bodies absorbed that every day, and if we aren't careful this can be dangerous not only to our appearance on the outside be also on the inside.
Journaling and planning
Get a planner or journal; start writing out your goals for the day, your tasks, and anything else you need to remember. Start to stay organized so you know what needs to be done.
Learning
I find it so important that we are always learning new things, we are constantly growing and changing as time moves. fill your mind with new skills, learn new things about yourself, and test your abilities this summer.
