How To Live Your Best Life This Springtime

Springtime is just right around the corner, it's time to come out of hibernation and step into this new and exciting blossoming world.

Springtime is a time of new life, warmth, and sunshine, while the season is putting in the hard work bringing leaves, grass, and flowers back to life it's time we start doing the same for ourselves.

Time to say goodbye to the winter blues and leap into a new you, a new season and era to reflect and improve the person you are.

Why is springtime self care so important?

I don’t know about you but when winter comes around, I deep dive into hibernation emotionally and the world around me feels as if its sleeping.

While everything around you is coming to life, springtime self care is an opportunity to let go of all the unwanted stress, anxiety and throw away the winter blues.

Here are some exciting activities and tips that can help you navigate your way through springtime.

1. Declutter your mind

Come on.. get a good planner, and write out your spring goals! Whether it be cleaning the garage, or finally purging some of your clothes for donation.

Anything put down on paper is a step closer to that goal. 

2. A smell-good springtime cleaner

Let go of toxic, overpowering smells of cleaners and find yourself a good natural cleaner.

3. Pilates or yoga?

Have a pilates or yoga sesh.

Feel amazing by starting your morning, or ending an evening with a nice little workout to get you in the right mindset.

4. Build good habits

Build strong habits to get you on the right track for this new season.

Check out Atomic Habits – This book will change how you view your daily life and help you start moving towards all those things you’ve wanted to get done.

5. Create a new music playlist for the spring/summer

Having great music to listen to is a must, have something nice and relaxing while you declutter the house this springtime is essential

6. Get into salads this spring

Salads don't have to be boring, get creative!

Here is one I cannot resist lately; Fresh spring mix, with goat cheese, apples, walnuts, and lemon pepper seasoning. Add whatever you think would taste amazing.

7. Toxic 

Get rid of anything that doesn’t bring happiness into your life, don't bring that into this new season of your life.

8. Plan a garden

Plan a garden this spring, and gather your items. Start germinating the seeds and get the process started.

9. Prioritize your self care

Find a good routine for your skin and hair, with the sun starting to show more of itself, make time for yourself. We don't need any dry skin or hair.

10. Self-improvement

Step into your personal growth era; let go of the sadness, let go of the laziness and dive into improving your mindset, your goals, and yourself this spring.
