Your fall / winter morning routine
- Your intro to nailing the new year
The nice sunshine summer months have come to an end, you can start to see the leaves falling, and you realize you're reaching for your sweatshirt and cozy blanket over the cute tank top and cut-offs.
Life can begin to start feeling like a darker place to some people, while others look forward to this time because of the holidays, pumpkin patches, and of course the cozy clothing.
I want you to create a list of some of the top goals to set for yourself with the upcoming changes in the season, this will also be a change in season within yourself. It can be hard to motivate yourself when it's cold and all you want to do is curl up on the couch and watch Netflix.
Well, today, everything is going to change! Especially with the new year approaching, set your goals before the new year. Summer is right around the corner. The time to start is right now! Be "That girl" now.
Nobody is coming to help you out of bed, and nobody is going to go out and achieve that dream you had since last year, this is your year to make it happen.
HOW TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
- Wake up early
- Drink some water
- Put on those cozy slippers
- Make some tea/coffee
- Light a candle
- Write down your top goals
Put 1 hour into that goal, and look at you at the end of the week you have invested 7 hours into that goal. so, here we go...
YOUR GOAL NUMBER 1
- Your mindset (It's most important) Start by looking within and envision the person you want to be.
- You need to stop doubting the person you know you can become
- You need to start being honest with yourself about what you are really accomplishing.
- You have to stop making time for people who are bringing you down.
- Stop setting your goals on the back burner (Are you escaping hard work to hang with friends, scroll through social media, or skipping a workout because it's too hard?)
YOUR GOAL NUMBER 2
- Working out - I know its no fun, but the journey is well worth the results.
- Get active! find a workout that best fits your needs. weight lift, go for a run, do some yoga. but get that heart rate up and create a workout routine.
- Studies have proved that physical activity has increased productivity, improved focus, and much more.
- improve your mental health
- Seeing improvement in other areas from working out.
Nobody wants to get out of their cozy bed at 5 am to start a workout. But, I can guarantee that once you implement it in your daily routine, you will start seeing results in your body, your health, how you communicate with people, and the things you're accomplishing.
YOUR GOAL NUMBER 3
- wake up early
- Setting the tone of your day
- You're alone with your thoughts before the world is awake
- You have more time to work on your goals
- Set your alarm the night before (no backouts)
- What you will accomplish is more worth your while than the lost sleep.
think if you start now, this time next year, just imagine what you have accomplished!
GOAL NUMBER 3
- Start journaling /reading / listening to personal development podcasts
- Always keep a journal handy
- Write down your top goal (the one that would change everything)
- Create a list of everything you're grateful for
- Time track your habits and what your day looks like
- Do this every day
Seeing this is subconsciously re-programming your brain to be thankful every day and keep you on track with those goals.
GOAL NUMBER 5
- CHECK IN ON YOURSELF
- Grab your journal - At the end of each day do a gut check on yourself
- Make sure you showed up
- Evaluate your day
Don't be so hard on yourself. It's that 1% daily that adds up to that 100% in the end.
IT'S THAT EASY!
Once you start incorporating a more structured routine lifestyle for yourself, you're going to start growing in other areas. You will see improvement within yourself.
An attitude change towards your partner, friendships, and family. There will be a clear mind shift (in a good way) and I can promise you that you will crave more of that feeling.
But remember, have grace with yourself, and don't beat yourself up if you miss a day. that's okay. just remember to jump back in the game. You got this!
